A Trip to Amsterdam should be a Thing that must be on your Bucket List. Famous for the Canals, the Flowers and of course they're Cheese. You can discover really amazing Places that are very very unique.
We've been there last Fall and it was definitly the best Time to go - Colourfull and and less Tourists - the best two things to take great Pictures. Also my Dad was running the Amsterdam City Marathon there so for me a great Opportunity to discover the City and watch him die while the Race :D.
5 Days there arent enough to discover everything but i picked the best four Attractions for you:
The best Thing here is the Water - it offers endless great spots.
There are offered many Canal Cruises and i can really recommend it to you. The Bike might be the best known Transport here but to see the most you need to get on a boat.
It's like a hop on hop off bus just on the Water which takes you to most off the Attractions like the Rijksmuseum, the Flower Market or the Harbour.
A 48 Hrs Pass is offered for 32$ which is in my oppion a great Price to see all from an amazing pot of view. You can also add for about 5$ ( A huge Discount) Entrace in the Van Gogh Museum or the Rijksmuseum.
Also you really should visit one of the Fish Markets if you're into Seafood.
Daily Fresh right out of the Sea - everything youve seen before and some Fishes you never seen before and probably never tryed.
You can find of these the "Nordermarkt" in the busy Quarter Jordan. Its definitly my favourite one here in Amsterdam - open on Saturdays from
9 am to 4 pm.
Along to fresh Seafood you can buy there Vegetabales, Fruit, Cheese and everything also directly from the Farmers to real good Prices.
Take youre Time and try the different dishes there its a great way to get to know the traditionel Dutch Food.
The main Amsterdam tourism attractions are museums. Everyone knows the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum, but there is much, much more.
The city has over fifty museums which attract many millions of visitors every year and you should definily take a closer look at them.
Dutch History, Modern Arts or Paintings from the world best Atists you can really find everything there.
Amsterdam and prostitution have been together since the 15th century.
In the famous red light district in the old centre, women from all over the world sit behind windows, lit by red lights.
When you take a stroll there on a evening you will definitly not be alone. Most of the Tourists visit it at least once while theyre Stay.
And I can understand why - the Flair of the warm Neighboorhood and all the Cafes along the street.
Take a drink and watch the Life there.
At last i will Show you some more great oictures from my Amazing Trip - all in all a amazing City where you can travel with a low Budget and a Camera - like me and most of the other young People today.
